Evolving Geodigital Data: Opportunities, Challenges & Disruptions

The Geographical and Geospatial Sciences Committee (GGSC) is hosting a meeting on June 11th, 2025 on Evolving Geodigital Data. This meeting will explore what constitutes authoritative geospatial data and how it relates to geospatial data that federal agencies manage. Presentations and discussion will address the following questions: What attributes make geospatial data trustworthy? What is AI ready data? What are the challenges with using remote sensing data for dynamic event response/recovery?.
