Peer Review of the Marine Recreational Information Program Data Standards Meeting 3

The impact of recreational fishing is difficult to quantify, but it is important to avoid overfishing. The Marine Recreational Information Program (MRIP) conducts its own surveys to monitor fishing and certifies surveys conducted by states and regional agencies. The public is invited to register and attend the public portion of the third meeting of a CNSTAT panel that is reviewing MRIP's data quality standards. We will be hearing from both fisheries and federal statistical agencies.
