The Dietary Reference Intakes Process: A Webinar
The National Academies will host a public webinar on December 12, 2025, to inform public health professionals and future Dietary Reference Intake (DRI) review committees about the DRI process.
Discussions will center on the DRI framework, structure, and process; the evidence base needed to support the derivation of DRI values; and their uses and applications for health professionals. Speakers will lead discussions to explore the general purpose and public health relevance of the DRIs, as well as considerations for future DRI reviews—such as the review of the DRIs for macronutrients.
