Gulf Offshore Energy Security, Safety and Risk Management Workshop
The Gulf Research Program of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine will convene a workshop focused on advancing offshore energy safety, security, and risk management across the Gulf region and the U.S. outer continental shelf. Researchers, industry professionals, and policy experts will explore how scientific collaboration and innovation can enhance energy leadership, sustainability, and competitiveness. Discussion topics will include cross-sector research partnerships, sustainable offshore development, and emerging technologies for reducing risk in offshore energy operations.
