Transforming Undergraduate STEM Education: Virtual Meeting on Undergraduate Mathematics
The first of the series of virtual meetings, this interactive virtual event will focus on implementation of the seven research-based Principles for Teaching in undergraduate mathematics contexts. Examples of effective teaching practices will be highlighted, followed by an in-depth discussion on how to apply key approaches and concepts at the academic unit or departmental level. Participants will have the opportunity to walk through a custom module based on the 2025 report and consider the implications and implications of the recommendations to their own contexts.
