Join the National Academies on July 21, 2026, for an implementation forum focused on the recommendations of the recently released report, A Vision for the Manufacturing USA Program in 2030 and 2035. The forum will convene leaders from industry, government, academia, and the Manufacturing USA network to discuss strategies for advancing the report’s recommendations and strengthening U.S. manufacturing. Building on the recent consensus study, the forum will explore practical pathways for expanding technology transfer and scale-up, improving cross-agency and cross-institute collaboration, strengthening regional manufacturing ecosystems, and developing the advanced manufacturing workforce needed for the next decade and beyond. Participants will examine opportunities to translate the report’s vision into action and identify areas where coordinated strategy and policy can accelerate innovation and domestic manufacturing growth.
The National Academies will also host briefings on Capitol Hill on July 22 and encourages participants from the implementation forum join.
