Attribution of Extreme Weather and Climate Events and their Impacts Report Release Webinar
This webinar will present the new National Academies report Attribution of Extreme Weather and Climate Events and Their Impacts, releasing prior to the webinar on July 16. Members of the authoring committee will discuss the report's findings and recommendations, including advances in attribution science, research priorities, approaches for extending attribution science to data-limited regions, and guidance for engaging stakeholders with attribution science findings.
The report updates and expands on the 2016 National Academies report, Attribution of Extreme Weather Events in the Context of Climate Change, reflecting current scientific understanding and capabilities for extreme event attribution.
