Climate Conversations: Buildings

The construction, operation, and maintenance of buildings accounts for around 40 percent of U.S. energy demand and associated greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Reducing building energy use and emissions at scale will require a range of strategies, from energy efficiency, building electrification, automated advanced energy management, and on-site renewable energy. Speakers will discuss the opportunities and challenges of decarbonizing large commercial, institutional, and industrial buildings, and the technologies, strategies, and tools needed to accelerate progress.
