The Board on Physics will hold its inaugural fall meeting on October 21–22, 2026, in Irvine, CA, with virtual participation available. The meeting will bring together experts and decisionmakers from across the physics community for two days of open sessions exploring emerging opportunities, challenges, and trends shaping the future of the field. The program will include presentations, panel discussions, and community lightning talks on topics ranging from how AI is changing peer review to focused discussions on magnetism, quantum science, and biological physics.
